The Project
IN FLUX brings together twelve award winning cinematographers from around the world, each following one life — one encounter with mortality — through their own visual language. What results is not twelve stories but one continuous movement, glimpsed from different windows, across different lives, always the same light.
We are always in transit. What we call death is simply the moment we step off one train and onto another.
The Opportunity
A generation of landmark non-verbal films — from Koyaanisqatsi to Baraka to Samsara — proved that cinema without dialogue can find a global audience and generate lasting cultural and commercial value. IN FLUX is the next step in that lineage — and the first to confront mortality and continuity directly.
The portrait structure creates a natural series — twelve episodes released across one year — alongside a feature film for festival premiere and theatrical release. A unique cross-platform architecture designed for the prestige streaming market.
The Ask
This tranche funds the critical development phase — formally locking key talent, completing story and location development across all twelve portrait territories, and aligning with a lead production partner — positioning the project for full production financing of $5,000,000.
